Corporate Development & Strategy Intern

Shiftgig is hiring a Corporate Development & Strategy Intern. In this role, you will directly support Shiftgig's Executive Chairman & Co-founder on key corporate development initiatives.

Role / Responsibilities

  • Own competitive landscape research and analyses across local, national, and global markets
  • Monitor and synthesize relevant VC activity to provide insights to executive leadership
  • Conduct advanced analytics on complex internal/external data sets, driving towards cross-functional insights and strategic recommendations
  • Lead workshops with internal and external stakeholders to collect primary research regarding customer experience, journeys, and moments of truth
  • Collaborate cross-functionally, to design prioritized process maps, formalize critical processes, and recommend areas for optimization
  • Analyze market research data to provide guidance and input on thought leadership efforts
  • Develop understanding of internal data availability and SQL querying to support strategic analyses
  • Support development of formalized processes and governance structure for Strategy organization
